I love food! I’m a thin dude but boy do I love to eat. I’m hungry like every three hours, so I’m glad that Chemeketa has a wide variety of food. Chemeketa has salads, soups, pizza, all kinds of burgers, Chinese food, fries, tacos, and that’s not even half of what they offer… I don’t think I can only choose one favorite food. I have a couple so I’ll let you guys know what they are. I like a lot there grilled ham and cheese sandwiches with fries. They have some real good fries here… I also like their burritos because you get to choose what goes inside of them which are a big plus! Fresh vegetables and everything! Chemeketa also has a convenience store with flexible hours. It’s like having a 7/11 on campus, but without the name. It’s cool. I will recommend everyone that attends Chemeketa to try their thick, cheesy, warm pizza! It’s delicious… So now you know what to have on campus next time your here on campus.

It’s Monday and I’m trying to adjust back into school mode from that nice 4 day weekend we got… Thanksgiving was fun like always! We got together, the whole family and had a huge feast like every year… My dad made some really good stuffed turkey, potatoes and my aunts made some tamales, and roasted ham, which were delicious! We always have a really good time when the whole family gathers up… I, my sisters, and all my cousins were in the living room chilling and just talking while my parents, aunts, and my uncles were in the kitchen… We had a couple of balloons but there were filled up with helium so I and my cousin started to swallow the helium and talking, it was hilarious! Everyone was laughing because of the stuff we were saying and how it sounded also… We left my aunt’s house like around midnight. I went home with a belly full of thanksgiving food! It was another good Thanksgiving…

Time just keeps on going and will never stop. I’m 19 and I can’t believe it. I mean I’m still young and everything but its crazy how time flies… I don’t feel any different besides having more responsibilities and stress… I had a party at my house on Saturday, couldn’t have it on Monday so had it on Saturday. It went well, all my family showed up and some friends did also. I had good time. I got my face smashed into a cake but I got some nice gifts.
That’s the highlight of my weekend… Oh! And I had a soccer game on Sunday, which we won!

My first impression of Chemeketa was “calm, peaceful, and very diverse school.” It offers a lot of services for example; free tutoring/ writing center, computer labs, multicultural center, workshops and many more. I had also been told by other students that this is a great school to attend! And I totally agree. The thing that I like most about Chemeketa is that it’s a very diverse school and I like the work environment here on campus. I work on campus as a Student Ambassador in the Marketing and Student Recruitment Center. My job consists of helping out with college visitations, giving tours, and work on computer. I started to work here since the beginning of fall term and have enjoyed it a lot! The working environment here is great. I’ve always thought that Chemeketa was a great school to study at and having experienced it, I can say it is.
