Hundreds of career-bound Salem-Keizer school students and their families will view future educational opportunities at an annual college and career fair at Chemeketa Community College.
The fair is from 6 to 8 pm Nov. 7 in Building 7 on the Salem campus. This is a free event with free parking. The fair has taken place for more than 25 years. In 2010, 65 colleges and universities from across the nation participated in the event and participation is expected to be greater this year.
Several Chemeketa technical education programs, trade schools, apprenticeship programs and military will be on hand to showcase their offerings to students. (more…)
