On Thursday, April 20, Chemeketa will hold its annual Earth Day Fair in the new quad on Salem’s campus.
Hosted by the Associated Students of Chemeketa, International Programs and Sustainability, this event will feature an assortment of activities, including—
- Free food
- Bike raffle and bike repair
- Special events from college programs, including a club fair, food drive for Chemeketa’s Food Pantry, an art project with International Programs and Sustainability’s paper crane community art-making
- Community exhibitors, including Life Source, Friends of Trees, Habitat for Humanity and Marion Polk Food Share
In the case of inclement weather, the Earth Day Fair will be moved into the Bldg. 2 Student Center.
