Making QuickBooks Work for You

Designed to be an introduction to how QuickBooks works in a general sense.  QuickBooks can be as simple or complex as you wish to make it.  The success of QuickBooks is essentially based on your ability to set up the system in the most effective way to help you derive the information you want.  QuickBooks uses a variety of types of lists to help you track information and later report on that information.

Starts with the process of receiving payments from customers, including the most popular question:  How do I record deposits or advances made by customers?  We transition to the expenses side of business next.  Afterwards we look at the reconciliation of accounts.
