Chemeketa Community College is collaborating with Salem-Keizer Public Schools and Willamette Workforce Partnership to host the annual Career Connections event on May 9, 2023, at 4000 Lancaster Drive Northeast, Salem, Oregon 97305. Career Connections is an event for high school students to undergo mock interviews with volunteer interviewers. 

Chemeketa is expecting up to 800 high school students and 300 volunteer interviewers throughout the Career Connections event. The mock interviews are designed to help young people prepare for their future and assist them in developing job search and communication skills. 

“Chemeketa is thrilled to host Career Connections for the first time,” says James McNicholas from Chemeketa Community College. “These mock interviews are meant for students to develop and learn new professional skills. We are thankful to have many volunteer interviewers help us make this a successful event.”
