The program is designed to increase diverse representation in executive and senior-level positions in higher education.

“I am so honored to be nominated by President Howard for HACU’s Leadership Academy/La Academia De Liderazgo,” said Roache.

Fellows, who represent colleges and universities across the country, participate in an array of leadership development activities preparing them for leadership roles in the full spectrum of institutions of higher learning, with an emphasis on Hispanic-Serving Institutions and Emerging HSIs.

"We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud of Marshall," said Jessica Howard, President of Chemeketa Community College.  "Being chosen by HACU reflects Marshall's outstanding capabilities and commitment to our students. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact Marshall will continue to make as he embarks on this new journey as a Fellow of HACU's Leadership Academy."
